Estimator

Allen Engineering Contractor, Inc is seeking a Commercial/Industrial Construction Estimator with previous estimating experience for Department of Defense/Gov’t construction projects. Responsibilities include: reading of plans and specs, performing take offs, soliciting bids from subcontractors/suppliers, preparing and submitting cost proposals and bids, recording and documenting bid proposals and results for future reference and other duties as required. Must have minimum of 5 years construction estimating experience, 3 years field experience, strong working knowledge of RS Means, ability to create, organize and manage cost estimating databases and tools and have competent working knowledge of MS-Office software and excellent communication skills.

Quality Control Manager

Allen Engineering Contractor, Inc. is currently seeking a Quality Control manager with previous quality control management experience on Department of Defense projects. This position is responsible for implementing the quality control plan and ensuring all work performed meets the contract plans and specifications. Required Qualifications: Minimum 5 years previous quality control management experience on Department of Defense projects, USACE Quality Control Certification, OSHA-30, Web CM training, strong computer skills, strong communication skills-Must be willing to travel Preferred Qualifications: OSHA-10, First Aid/CPR, Previous quality control management experience on USACE projects

Site Safety Manager

Allen Engineering Contractor, Inc. is currently seeking a job-site Safety Manager with previous safety management experience on Department of Defense projects. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by ensuring all state, federal, contract specific and Allen Engineering safety regulations are consistently followed and enforced on company job sites. Minimum 10 years previous safety management experience on Department of Defense projects. OSHA-30 or equivalent and an average of 24 hours of formal safety training each year in the last 5 years in 4 areas of competency (Excavation, Scaffolding, Fall Protection, Hazardous Energy, Confined Spaces, Health Hazard Recognition, Evaluation & Control of chemicals, physical and biological agents, and/or Personal Protective Equipment & Maintenance). Must have computer skills, strong communication skills and must be willing to travel.

Site Superintendent

This position is responsible for the day to day on-site management of projects including: supervision of employees and subcontractors, overseeing site safety and quality control. Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years previous site supervision on Department of Defense projects, USACE Quality Control Certification, OSHA-30, First Aid/CPR, Web CM training, ability to read and understand blueprints, strong management and leadership skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, superior construction knowledge in multiple trades, strong computer skills-Must be willing to travel Preferred Qualifications: OSHA-10, Confined Space Training, Fall Protection Training, Forklift Training, Previous site supervision experience on USACE projects

Project Manager

Responsible for all aspects of project management including estimating for a wide range of projects including design build, environmental, renovation/restoration, HVAC, heavy civil and electrical.
